Responsibilities Work in a hospital radiology department serving a Level 1 trauma center Adult and diverse patient population Day shift from 11 : 00 AM to 11 : 00 PM, 3 days per week, with backup call rotation Perform radiographic imaging procedures including use of portable radiography equipment and C-arm in patient rooms, ICU, and surgery Epic EMR system experience required Position and immobilize patients, operate and adjust imaging equipment, and use radiation safety measures to ensure staff and patient safety Assist radiologists with routine fluoroscopic and invasive procedures Perform quality control activities and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation Maintain equipment and supplies, and report inventory deficiencies as needed Provide guidance to students in general radiology procedures Courtesy and professionalism in all guest relations and telephone interactions are expected No local candidates accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles from facility Return time off (RTO) not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract Contingent workers may not be on assignment for more than 1 year and must take a 6-month break before returning Requirements Current ARRT Radiography (R) certification required IEMA Radiography License for Illinois required; license required if applicable Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Associate's degree in a related field or certificate in Radiologic Technology required Minimum of 1 year of relevant radiology technologist experience Experience in Level 1 trauma setting required Documented experience with Epic charting system Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618755.
