A well-established and growing construction firm in the San Antonio area is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up commercial and multifamily projects. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who enjoys leading teams, building client relationships, and ensuring that every project is completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects from pre-construction through closeout
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
  • Coordinate daily activities with field superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Lead project meetings and ensure transparent communication across all stakeholders
  • Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Identify and resolve issues related to scheduling, cost control, and project scope
  • Enforce company standards for safety, quality, and performance
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and all project documentation

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager (commercial or multifamily preferred)
  • Proven success managing ground-up projects valued at $5M or higher
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, local codes, and best practices
  • Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project (or similar project management software)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
