Job descriptionOperate communication and dispatch systems to monitor and coordinate security-related activities within the location. Receive, evaluate, and prioritize incoming calls, radio transmissions, and requests for assistance, providing clear information and instructions as needed. Document incidents, observations, and communications in real time according to site-specific procedures and policies. Alert and dispatch security personnel to respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Maintain awareness of ongoing activities throughout the location and communicate pertinent information to appropriate personnel. Assist with customer service by answering inquiries from staff, visitors, and / or contractors regarding site-specific policies and procedures. Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to help to deter unauthorized activity through consistent monitoring and communication. Follow all emergency response protocols and assist in coordinating the response during incidents and / or evacuations as necessary. At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. A valid guard card or license is preferred. CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Job Description
As a Security Officer - Tech Driving Site in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will play a critical role in monitoring and coordinating security-related activities to help create a secure environment. You will manage communication channels, support field teams, and provide exceptional customer service to staff and visitors. Your ability to remain calm under pressure and your strong organizational skills will be key as you respond to incidents and support daily operations.
