We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day locum tenens assignment in New York. This opportunity begins Jan 13, 2026, providing Monday through Friday coverage in a busy primary care office. The role offers consistent day shifts from 8am to 4 : 30pm, seeing an average of 20 patients daily in a collaborative setting with physicians and other advanced practice providers. Job Details Location : New York Facility Type : Primary Care Office Start Date : Jan 13, 2026 LOA : 65 days Provider Type Needed : Family Nurse Practitioner Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8am-4 : 30pm; 40 clinical hours per week (no administrative time) Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient panel Conduct office visits scheduled in 15- and 30-minute increments Manage an average daily patient volume of 20 Collaborate with a team of 3 physicians, 2 advanced practice providers, and a tenured LPN Deliver care independently in a fast-paced, rural health environment Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation Support continuity of care within the established practice model Additional Information Current New York nurse practitioner license required Board certification in Family Medicine required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Prior experience in rural health settings is preferred Ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
