Dermatology Billing Manager / Biller - Full-Time

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage billing workflow, establishing key metrics for success and driving continuous improvements.
• Function in a player / manager role, actively participating in daily billing operations.
• Ensure accurate daily claim billing and auditing, alongside efficient posting of insurance payments (electronic and paper).
• Address and resolve claim edits / exclusions, demonstrating a thorough understanding of billing guidelines and payor requirements.
• Handle prior authorization processes and follow up on unpaid claims to secure prompt payment.
• Utilize insurance appeal experience and manage patient statements, collections, refunds, and account receivables.
• Engage directly with patients to resolve questions related to balances and insurance issues.
• Spearhead billing training for front desk and call center staff, ensuring high departmental productivity and quality standards are met.
• Execute additional duties as requested by Management.
