Trusts & Estates / Probate Attorney

A respected and expanding law firm is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates / Probate Attorney to join its growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to handle complex estate planning and administration matters in a collaborative, client-focused environment — ideal for attorneys ranging from mid-level to seasoned practitioners ready to take on greater responsibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Counsel high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners on comprehensive estate and tax planning strategies, including wills, trusts, and advanced wealth transfer structures.
  • Draft, review, and implement estate planning documents such as revocable and irrevocable trusts, charitable entities, and succession plans.
  • Handle probate and trust administration matters from start to finish, including filings, accountings, and fiduciary representation.
  • Advise clients and fiduciaries on complex issues involving estate tax, asset protection, and trust interpretation.
  • Collaborate with financial advisors, CPAs, and other professionals to deliver fully integrated estate and tax planning solutions.
  • (For senior-level candidates) Opportunity to mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm growth and business development initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in estate planning, probate, or trust administration (senior candidates with 8+ years strongly encouraged to apply).
  • LL.M. in Taxation or background in tax planning preferred but not required.
  • Exceptional drafting, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client matters independently while thriving in a team-oriented setting.
  • Proven experience advising on estate, gift, and income tax matters a plus.
