We’re currently hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Southern California. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, helping customers, and supporting a growing company in the construction and building materials industry.

Position Summary

As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be responsible for providing top-notch support to customers, vendors, and contractors. You'll assist with order processing, product questions, and general administrative tasks — ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, professional customer service via phone, email, and in-person
  • Support customers with quotes, product details, and order updates
  • Enter and manage customer information and order data accurately
  • Use QuickBooks for order entry and customer records
  • Create and update documents using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Assist with general office duties and admin support as needed
  • Communicate effectively with other departments (sales, logistics, etc.)

Requirements

  • Proficient in QuickBooks (customer service-related tasks)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with construction or building materials is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Highly organized and dependable
  • Able to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Professional, positive attitude and responsive to direction from management

    • Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting Pay : $23.00 / hour
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) :
  • 5 days (40 hours) per year
  • Accrues after 90 days at a rate of 0.01923 hours per hour worked
  • PTO can be used after 90 days of earning it
  • Health Benefits : Not currently available, but planned for the near future

  • Two-week vetting period to assess team fit and performance
  • 90-day probationary period , followed by performance review
  • Looking for candidates who are reliable, accurate, and professional in all tasks
