Registered Nurse

Willis Knighton Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our fact-paced physician clinics. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, critical thinking and organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, dependability, possess excellent communication skills, have a solid knowledge of computers, and have initiative to work independently. We have an atmosphere of teamwork that we expect to continue with all new hires as you will work closely with the physicians, managers, nursing and clerical staff as an integral component assisting with the daily operations of our clinics. The register nurse will assist with clerical and medical duties. Your responsibilities will include' but are not limited to giving excellent customer service, filing, data entry, the ability to perform EKG testing, taking vital signs, answering / returning phone calls, refills and scheduling of tests and procedures as ordered. Hospital and Departmental Orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process as well as training on our enterprise-wide management system, including health records. The office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. You will not be required to work weekends and holidays. An RN with a current license to practice as a professional nurse in the state of Louisiana will be required for this position.
