About The Position

Description :

The X-Ray Tech will be responsible for performing various imaging procedures.

The role requires working in an acute hospital setting, including trauma and portable imaging for all age ranges.

No call duty is required.

Weekend work is required.

Travelers will be called off for one 12-hour shift per two weeks.

The facility accepts travelers from outside the local area, requiring a permanent address to be at least 50 miles from the facility.

Pending licenses are accepted, with a processing time of 10-12 weeks.

The candidate should be flexible and be open to floating within the facility as needed.

The facility offers free parking.

Additional requirements include working two major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.

Travelers are encouraged to look into housing options in the area, as availability may be limited.

References from at least two supervisors in comparable settings are required.

Candidates must have experience with the Epic charting system.

There is a preference for candidates with experience in a Level II trauma facility.

The healthcare setting encompasses a variety of age groups from neonates to geriatrics.

Special procedures and equipment usage include Fluoroscopy and portable imaging technologies.

The job requires performance in an interdisciplinary support environment.
