Payroll Specialist

Onsite in Kingston, NY

12-month contract

Seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to do payroll processing and administration for a large healthcare organization using Workday, while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

A highly skilled professional is needed to manage end-to-end payroll operations for multiple entities within our healthcare system.

System Knowledge - Paragon (highly preferred)

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 4 years of experience in payroll
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with automated staff scheduling and timekeeping systems
• Proficiency in Workday or similar HRIS / Payroll systems
• Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Thorough understanding of FLSA, ERISA, and other relevant regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
