The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization whose mission is to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the quality of life for the children and adults affected by these diseases. Our work is dramatically accelerating the research process through our varied research initiatives; we also provide extensive educational and support resources for patients and their families, medical professionals, and the public. In addition, we lead federal and state-based advocacy campaigns to support medical research funding and improve patient access to care. Position Summary :
The Foundation has an exciting learning opportunity available for an Advancement & Volunteer Engagement Intern. This is a chance to work within a leading non-profit organization to gain knowledge of engaging individual and planned giving donors, foundations, and volunteers who help the Foundation accelerate its path to achieving its mission. This role would provide exposure to individual and foundation giving, planned giving, and volunteer engagement. We are seeking someone who is high-energy, detailed oriented, and a self-starter with strong inter-personal and communication skills.
This is an 8-week Internship opportunity, running from February 9 - April 2, 2026 with 20 hours / week anticipated. This is a hybrid internship with 2 days / week in the Foundation's New York City office and the remaining work remote.
