Talent4Health is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel job in Meridian, Idaho.

Experience Requirements

3–4 years of mammography experience required

Must have completed at least 1–2 prior travel or contract assignments

General : BLS

Specialty : ARRT with Mammography certification

Equipment & Locations

Screening Sites :

Boise, Eagle, Nampa : 1 scanner per site; 2 technologists per scanner

Meridian : 2 scanners; 4 technologists

Diagnostic Sites :

Boise : 2 machines; operates triple schedule (3 staff rotating on 2 machines)

Meridian & Nampa : 1 machine each

Equipment :

Screening : Hologic

Diagnostic : Hologic

Procedures : Hologic prone biopsy table with Bravera biopsy device

Job Duties & Imaging Performed

Screening :

Standard screening mammograms, including implants, special needs (wheelchair, walker), and 4D mammography

Diagnostic :

Diagnostic breast scans and possible procedures

Floating / Coverage :

Technologists perform both screening and diagnostic studies

Workload

Diagnostic : ~14 scans per day (30-minute slots per scan, unilateral or bilateral)

Screening (8-hour shift) : 18–21 scans per day

Screening (10-hour shift) : 21–25 scans per day

Extra time provided for implants and new patients (20 minutes each)

Systems Used

EMR : EPIC

PACS : Change

Staffing & Leadership

Lead Tech : Available but may not be onsite

Radiologist : Screens are batch-read; reviewed and reported later

RRAs : Not utilized

IV Starts : Not required

Scheduling & Shifts

Screening Shifts :

07 : 30–16 : 00

08 : 00–16 : 30

10-hour shift : 07 : 00–17 : 30

Diagnostic Shifts :

8-hour shifts, variable start times : 07 : 30–16 : 00, 08 : 00–16 : 30, 08 : 30–17 : 00

Scheduling Type : Not specified (combination of fixed and rotating)

Additional Scheduling Details

Weekends : None

Holidays : None

Call / Standby : None

Orientation : 2–3 department-specific shifts in addition to general orientation

Dress Code

Any color scrubs permitted, provided they are clean and professional
