Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : Telemetry Registered Nurse (Tele RN) Location : 901 W Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78704 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : November 3, 2025 End Date : February 2, 2026 Healthcare Setting : 34-bed Surgical Oncology / Telemetry Unit Nursing Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM) Hours per Week : 36 Schedule : Every other weekend required Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360-$1460 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg or Telemetry nursing experience Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Experience with telemetry monitoring equipment (GE Telemetry, Welch Allyn Vital Signs) EMR proficiency (MediTech preferred) Outgoing, team-oriented personality Preferred : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Chemotherapy Certification Must wear navy scrubs Tele RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality, age-appropriate nursing care to medical / surgical and surgical oncology patients, including telemetry monitoring Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses and patient care technicians Document patient care accurately in MediTech EMR Participate in unit activities and promote a culture of teamwork and clinical excellence Educate patients and families on care plans and health management Why Choose Austin, TX (78704) for Your Next Nursing Job?
