Kona Medical Consulting is currently looking for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) who will be under the TIBS for Kids client in Avenel, New Jersey.

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients gain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with licensed occupational therapists to provide hands-on therapy and support to patients across various healthcare settings. General Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist
• Help patients improve their functional abilities and independence in daily activities
• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions
• Document patient progress and communicate with the occupational therapist regarding treatment plans and outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients

Requirements:- Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Pay: 45/hour, up to 10-15 hours per week
