Northwood Technical College is accepting applications from qualified candidates for a part-time / on-call Conference & Event Center Call Staff.
Conference & Event Call Staff provide on-call support to ensure a welcoming and professional experience for conference center clients. This role focuses on hospitality, customer service, and event support while assisting with Talent & Culture (formerly Human Resources) projects as needed.

- Provide excellent customer service to conference center clients and guests.
- Work with IT and Facilities to troubleshoot issues during events.
- Staff the conference center front desk when assigned.
- Assist with miscellaneous Talent & Culture (formerly Human Resources) projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Degree & Experience Required :
High School DiplomaOne year related work experience with event supportKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verballyProficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite and the ability to effectively apply technology to tasks and projectsAbility to contribute to a team environment while maintaining positivity and professionalismStrong customer service skills that focus on creative problem solvingTime management skills that apply organization and prioritization demonstrating the ability to multitask and work independentlyAbility to obtain driver's license and insurance coverage in accordance with College policyPreferred :
