Location : Grafton, WI \nFacility Type : Acute Care | Level III Trauma Center | Level II NICU\nShift : Nights – 3x12 Hours (19 : 00 – 07 : 30)\nContract Type : Travel – Not accepting first-time travelers\nCompact License : Accepted by all Swedish facilities\nPerm Eligibility : Perm staff from other Providence facilities (non-Swedish) must have a 3-month separation to be eligible\n\n🧒 Patient Population\n\nLevel II NICU\n\nUnstable newborns ≥32 weeks gestation\n\nCouplet Care\n\nTransition Nursery\n\nGYN surgery patients\n\nAttends all deliveries and high-risk deliveries\n\n🛠 Common Procedures & Responsibilities\n\nResuscitation / Support at Birth\n\nCPAP / BiPAP\n\nChest tube setup and care\n\nBreathing treatments\n\nPICC and central line management\n\nSyringe pumps\n\nFeeding tubes\n\nSedation & RSI (Rapid Sequence Intubation)\n\nCooling / Warming blankets\n\nDrains\n\n 👥 Staffing\n\nRN-to-Patient Ratio : 1 : 3\n\nSupport Team Includes : \n\nCharge nurse (may take assignment)\n\n24 / 7 NNP\n\nOB 24 / 7 (in-house or on- call)\n\nAnesthesiologist 24 / 7\n\nRT, phlebotomy, no tele tech\n\nNo unit secretary\n\n🔁 Floating Expectations\n\nMay float to : \n\nPostpartum\n\nLabor & Delivery\n\n📋 Certifications Required\n\nBLS (AHA)\n\nNRP\n\n💻 Charting & Equipment\n\nEMR : EPIC\n\nInfusion Pumps : Alaris\n\nMed Dispensing : Pyxis\n\n📅 Other Job Logistics\n\nOrientation : 1 shift on the unit\n\nTime Off : Up to 7 days (pre-approved)\n\nCall : Varies\n\nWeekends / Holidays : Not specified\n\nScrub Color : Procedural\n\nFirst -Time Travelers : Not accepted
