The Medical Claims Processor is responsible for reviewing and processing healthcare claims submitted by providers to insure accurate reimbursement.

Location : Work from Home - All candidates must live in the Dallas Fort Worth Area & have a designated work space at home.

Pay : $18-20 / hr. based on experience

Schedule : 8 hour shift between 7am-7pm CST (8am-8pm EST)

Job Description :

Verifying medical claims information and maintaining compliance with regulations and providing exceptional customer service to healthcare providers and patients.

Review and evaluate medical claims for accuracy and ensuring that all required documentation is included.

Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to processing claims.

Enter medical claim information into the billing system and monitor claim status.

Preferred skills / experience :

One year of healthcare or medical call center experience is required

Benefit verification - Prior Authorization

Medical collections

Prefer healthcare work experience and familiarity with medical benefits, medical insurance, prescriptions

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Co-pay, co-insurance, deductible

PAP - patient assistance programs

Education :

Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
