Job descriptionLovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital includes state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from health care conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. Leads and oversees the daily duties of assigned staff within a designated department. Provides guidance and training to assigned staff responsible for admitting, registering, scheduling, and verifying patient insurance policies. Handles customer account transactions, provides customer assistance, and performs and / or oversees cashiering operations. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety. High School Diploma or GED equivalent Two (2) years of directly related experience Medical Terminology. Knowledge of office procedures. Knowledge of insurance plans Associate's degree in a related field of study. Medical Office Experience
