Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Our client, a renowned academic hospital dedicated to serving the culturally diverse community of Queens is hiring a Psychiatrist, Director of Ambulatory Behavioral Health Services. Responsibilities : Play a crucial leadership role in the Integrated Outpatient Adult Services and general outpatient psychiatric services. Oversee the day-to-day operations of a large multi-disciplinary service Recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of all staff within the Behavioral Health Services department. Providing leadership and strategic direction to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care and outcomes. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary leadership team to enhance service integration and effectiveness. Demonstrating a strong academic interest in teaching and supervising psychiatric residents. Qualifications : MD degree and board certification in Psychiatry. 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role. Current New York State Medical License, Medicaid number, and DEA number.
