Requirements

  • Must have one of the following :
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Education and a minimum of 1 year full time experience providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults OR completed a clinical or mental health practicum
  • Master's degree in ABA and a minimum of 1 year full time experience providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults OR completed a clinical or
  • Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History Check
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
  • FBI Criminal Background Check completed through the Department of Human Services
  • Valid Driver's License and car insurance
  • Description

    Pennsylvania Counseling Services (PCS) is looking for a Mobile Therapist / Behavioral Consultant (MT / BC) to provide in-home and school-based behavioral health services for children with mental health challenges .

    What You'll Do :

  • Lead an Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) team to support children and families.
  • Use Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) principles to guide clinical interventions .
  • Collaborate with families, school staff, and professionals to ensure treatment success.
  • Key Responsibilities :

    As a Behavioral Consultant (BC) :

  • Work with children diagnosed with autism and other behavioral challenges .
  • Develop treatment plans and functional skill-building strategies .
  • Equip families with tools and techniques for ongoing support.
  • As a Mobile Therapist (MT) :

  • Provide one-on-one therapy for children needing behavioral interventions .
  • Create customized treatment plans and work directly with families.
  • Supervise Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) .
