Position Summary :
The Hourly Data Analyst is a critical role responsible for executing high-impact research and analytical tasks across two distinct academic fields : educational technology and engineering. This position involves independent research, including the development and testing of a student performance monitoring application, applying necessary IRB protocols for educational data analysis, and utilizing data modeling algorithms to interpret complex additive manufacturing experiment data. The Analyst reports to a graduate student and the faculty advisor, operating within Dr. Miri's research group, and plays a central part in driving data-driven insights and scholarly output.

Salary Information :
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the hourly rate for this position is $20.00 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
