We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Estimator to join our growing Project Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading Louisiana heavy / highway contractor known for delivering high-quality civil construction projects, including concrete paving, sitework, sewer and drainage systems, and barrier installations .

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of estimating experience in Heavy Highway construction , a strong understanding of state and federal project specifications, and the ability to collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed take-offs and prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Review construction documents, specifications, and contracts to determine project scope and requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes for competitive bids.
• Prepare bid packages, proposals, and cost breakdowns for upcoming projects.
• Collaborate with the project management team on financial planning and cost control.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and government agencies.
• Assist with bid strategy, proposal review, and project decision-making.
• Attend team and client meetings as required.
