Position Summary
We are seeking a licensed and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our clinical team on a part-time, on-site basis. The successful candidate will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions that help patients develop, recover, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients physical, cognitive, and functional abilities
- Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
- Provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with best practices
- Train patients in activities of daily living (ADLs) and adaptive techniques
- Recommend and fit adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on therapy strategies and home programs
- Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active California medical license as an Occupational Therapist
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (new graduates considered)
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in an on-site healthcare setting
