Position Overview :

As an Estimating Manager , you will oversee and coordinate all estimating activities to ensure accurate and competitive bids. This is a working manager role, meaning you will be responsible for both leading a team and actively contributing to the estimating process. Your expertise in cost analysis, project planning, and proposal development will be crucial to the company’s success in securing contracts.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage the Estimating / Proposal Department’s daily activities.
• Develop and implement estimate execution plans.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate estimating personnel.
• Manage workload distribution and recommend staffing levels.
• Work collaboratively with business development, operations, purchasing, and other departments to ensure comprehensive and competitive estimates.
• Participate in all phases of the proposal process, from strategy development to final review.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs.
• Conduct pre-estimate meetings and transfer estimates to project execution teams.
• Ensure all proposals meet compliance requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
