Position Summary

This Assistant District Attorney position is a full-time position shared between the Grant County (.50 FTE) and Crawford County (.50 FTE) District Attorney's offices. The Grant County District Attorney's office is located in Lancaster, WI and the Crawford County District Attorney's office is located in Prairie du Chien, WI. This is a State position in the unclassified service. This position has an anticipated start date of Monday, October 6, 2025. The position's responsibilities and work schedule will be discussed in further detail during the interview process.

Salary Information

The starting hourly rate will be $36.72 per hour.

Job Details

Attorneys who are currently employed by the State of Wisconsin are invited to apply and may be able to transfer at their current pay rate. Attorneys who have left the position of Wisconsin elected District Attorney or Assistant District Attorney within the last five years may be able to be hired at a wage rate above the minimum.

Qualifications

Only attorneys who have been admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin may be hired.
