This is your fresh start! Step out of the traditional and into a special opportunity to work as an LPN - get back to why you became a healthcare professional. Join us and work directly to help persons with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and autism (IDD / A) to live their best life in the community. Small caseloads and personal interactions- this is why you became a nurse!

Make a career at The Arc of Centre County, a local non-profit organization. We are recruiting LPNs to work directly with those we support. Full-Time, Part-Time, and Flex opportunities are available.

Make a Difference : Become part of a team that truly impacts the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. Your role as a nurse will go beyond basic care, allowing you to help individuals lead fulfilling lives at home and in their community.

Flexible Scheduling : With various shift options (8, 10, 12, or 16-hour shifts, overnights, weekends), you can find a role that fits your needs.

Career Advancement : We believe in promoting from within! Many of our management team members started as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) or LPNs and are ready to help you smoothly transition into our agency.

Competitive Pay and Bonuses : Full-time LPNs start at $27-29 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and a $6,000 sign-on bonus ($4,000 for part-time).

Comprehensive Benefits : Enjoy medical, vision, dental, retirement options, and generous benefit time.

Employee Appreciation : We regularly celebrate our employees with appreciation gifts because your hard work deserves recognition!

Easy Application Process : Our updated website makes applying, scheduling, and accessing information a breeze.

New Pay Scale with Career Ladders : The Arc recently updated our pay scales and we offer career advancement and career ladders through NADSP credentialing for Front Line Supervisors.

Whether they are providing care in small community homes or delivering one-on-one support in people's own homes, nurses offer not only medical expertise but also compassion, advocacy, and continuity of care. Their work helps people remain connected to their communities, participate in daily activities, and maintain a sense of independence, all while receiving the care they need. It's a unique and vital role that often requires flexibility, patience, and a deep commitment to the well-being of others.
