Machine Set-Up Technician – 3rd Shift

Location : Geneva, IL

We are seeking a skilled Machine Set-Up Technician to join our 3rd shift team (11 : 00pm – 7 : 00am, Sunday through Friday) . Training will be provided on 1st shift , and the pay rate is $20.00 per hour . This position is responsible for setting up powder metal presses and troubleshooting machines, tooling, and processes to ensure efficient and accurate production.

Responsibilities :

Set up and adjust powder metal presses and related equipment.

Use precision measuring tools and blueprints to ensure product accuracy.

Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance.

Monitor production for quality and assist operators as needed.

Conduct density checks and obtain inspection approval before production.

Maintain documentation, records, and a clean, safe work area.

Follow safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications :

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Must successfully complete the pre-hire math test.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in grinding or machining operations.

Forklift operation and tool / die experience preferred.
