Our client is looking for a skilled Revenue Accountant to join their team on a contract basis in Franklin , Tennessee. In this role, you will take ownership of revenue accounting tasks, including month-end close activities and financial statement preparation, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is an onsite position requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to address discrepancies and improve processes.

Responsibilities :

• Oversee month-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Conduct in-depth revenue recognition analysis to comply with ASC 606 standards.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and address discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Review and adjust entries within income statements to maintain precision.
• Collaborate with various teams to collect data, resolve accounting issues, and document corrections.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance revenue accounting practices.
• Utilize Intacct software for accounting operations and reporting.
• Support clean-up projects by analyzing and correcting financial records.
• Prepare detailed financial statements that align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
• Extensive experience in revenue accounting, with healthcare industry experience preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of ASC 606 compliance and revenue recognition principles would be helpful.
• Proven track record of managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements.
• Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliations and income statement reviews.
• Familiarity with Intacct software or similar accounting platforms.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to efficiently manage clean-up projects and resolve discrepancies.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
