Treasury Professional

Within the Treasury group at SJI, you will engage in a broad range of treasury activities including cashflow forecasting, capital and liquidity planning, debt management, investment management, and cash operations. Treasury team members work closely with the Treasurer, CFO, and other senior leaders across the organization. The group also maintains key external relationships, actively engaging with investors, investment banks, rating agencies, and regulators. From time to time, certain members of the team contribute to strategic initiatives across the company. This role requires a seasoned professional with a comprehensive understanding of treasury functions and the ability to operate with agility and precision in a dynamic environment.
Essential Duties :
- Support strategies to optimize capital structure and cost of capital
- Assist in managing the debt portfolio, including issuance, refinancing, and covenant compliance
- Prepare presentations, transaction summaries, and supporting schedules
- Review legal documents and ensure timely regulatory disclosures
- Coordinate with internal teams to address inquiries from investors / lenders
- Spearhead the design and preparation of presentations to the board of directors and rating agencies
- Develop financial models and scenarios to support capital structure decisions
- Maintain relationships with investors, rating agencies, and financial institutions
- Analyze funding actions and variance drivers
- Develop reports to monitor capital structure
- Respond to data requests from key stakeholders
- Create and maintain dashboards for treasury KPIs
- Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Leverage TMS and ERP platforms to streamline operations
- Enhance data accuracy through workflow automation
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives
- Stay current on market trends and developments
- Provide coverage for Treasury team members

Required Background :

Compensation Range : $84,000 - 134,400
