Ettleson Cadillac Buick GMC is looking for an experienced Journeyman for our high traffic Service Department.
Our Service business is booming and we need a Journeyman proficient in diagnosis and repair to complete our team.
We are a Union shop proud to offer Union pay and benefits. UNLIMITED EARNING POTENTIAL!
JOB DESCRIPTION :
- Complete safety inspection, oil change, remove and replace brakes, calipers and other maintenance on vehicles
- Inspect engine, transmission etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
- Fill out all appropriate paperwork for service work completed for shop and customer service work completed.
- Problem solving ability and knowledge of mechanical software.
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
- Keep logs and reports on all issues.
