In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for our local operations, focusing on high-growth sectors such as Energy, Healthcare, and Professional Services. You will act as a brand ambassador in the Greater Houston community, leveraging local networks and cutting-edge AI recruitment platforms to identify, attract, and hire top-tier talent in one of the nation's most competitive markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, from intake meetings with hiring managers to offer negotiations and pre-boarding.
- Strategic Sourcing: Utilize AI-first recruiting models and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Talent Insights) to source passive candidates in specialized Houston industries.
- Local Networking: Represent the company at Houston-based career fairs, industry mixers, and local professional chapters (e.g., HASME, FEI, or local HR associations).
- Candidate Experience 3.0: Ensure a "white-glove" experience for all applicants, utilizing automated scheduling and personalized feedback loops to reduce friction.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on Houston-specific labor trends, cost-per-hire benchmarks, and local compensation shifts to advise leadership on talent strategy.
Requirements & Skills
- Experience: 3–5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within the Houston market.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and AI-driven sourcing tools.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Houston business landscape, including regional hiring nuances in the Energy Corridor, Medical Center, and Port areas.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and "persuasion" skills—essential for navigating Houston's relationship-based professional culture.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus)
