Role Overview :

As a Services Manager in our Children’s Residential program, you will lead a team of Children’s Support Professionals who provide 24 / 7 care and advocacy to youth with I / DD. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the residential home, ensuring high-quality and person-centered services, and supporting staff in delivering compassionate, skilled support in areas such as personal care, emotional and behavioral health, and life skills development. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves collaboration with families, guardians, and community partners to ensure children thrive in supportive and inclusive environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide leadership and supervision to a team of Children’s Support Professionals

Oversee daily operations of children’s residential homes

Foster safe, stable, and empowering environments for youth with I / DD

Support staff in delivering assistance with skill building, personal care, emotional regulation, and behavioral health

Monitor and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) tailored to each child and ensure the delivery of high-quality, individualized support services

Partner with families, case management, and stakeholders to coordinate care and services

Maintain compliance in record keeping and staffing level

Provide off-site on-call support to manage staff call-outs and emergency situations

This position involved 50 / 50 direct care and administrative duties

Qualifications :

Minimum 1 year of people management experience

2 years of experience working in human services, ideally with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (experience with children or youth strongly preferred)

Strong leadership and communication skills

Commitment to equity, inclusion, and advocacy

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Knowledge of person-centered planning and behavioral support principles is preferred

Licensed driver with a clean driving record and willingness to drive children to appointments and activities.

High school diploma or equivalent required.
