Executive Administrative Strategist
The Executive Administrative Strategist is a key advisor and liaison between agency leadership and staff and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and efficient operations across the agency. This position increases the effectiveness of the Board of Directors, the General Manager, and the Executive Team in supporting agency staff, the member governments and our community partners and other stakeholders. The Executive Administrative Strategist serves as a strategic partner to the General Manager and Executive Team, driving operational excellence and enabling leadership to focus on high-impact priorities. This role is pivotal in aligning executive workflows with agency objectives, streamlining governance processes, and enhancing cross-functional coordination. While reporting directly to the Chief of Staff / Chief Strategy Officer, the Executive Administrative Strategist's main job responsibilities include direct support of the General Manager and Board of Directors. Acting as a trusted advisor and liaison, the Executive Administrative Strategist position demands high emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate needs, manage complexity, and deliver results in a dynamic environment. The role requires excellent judgment, multitasking, and discretion in handling sensitive information, managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and supporting all executive and board efforts.

MINIMUM STANDARDS REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : Physical Abilities : Tasks involve the ability to exert light physical effort in sedentary to light work, but which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and / or pulling of objects, and materials of light weight (5-10 pounds). Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation. Sensory Abilities : Some tasks require visual perception and discrimination. Environmental Requirements : Tasks are regularly performed without exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, temperature and noise extremes, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, toxic agents, violence, disease, or pathogenic substances.
