Description : Responsibilities :
Housekeeping :
Execute daily cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, and other designated facility spaces.
Perform dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors for thorough cleanliness.
Clean and sanitize various surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
Ensure proper disposal of trash and waste from designated containers.
Maintain the cleanliness of windows and mirrors throughout the facility.
Replenish supplies in allocated areas as needed.
Laundry :
Collect soiled linens, clothing, and personal items from resident rooms and common areas.
Categorize and segregate items based on fabric type, color, and washing instructions.
Operate washing machines and dryers for effective cleaning and sanitization.
Fold, organize, and distribute clean laundry to designated areas.
Manage inventory of linen supplies and make replenishment orders as required.
Strictly adhere to infection control procedures during laundry processes.
General :
Adhere rigorously to established safety protocols and guidelines while executing duties.
Cultivate a positive and respectful attitude when interacting with residents, families, and staff.
Promptly report any maintenance or repair needs to the relevant department.
Actively participate in training programs related to infection control, safety, and job-specific skills.
Collaborate in maintaining a welcoming and homely atmosphere for residents.
Qualifications :
Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in housekeeping and laundry, particularly in healthcare or long-term care settings, is preferred.
Proficiency in proper cleaning techniques, chemical usage, and laundry processes.
Competence in operating cleaning equipment and machinery safely.
Exceptional attention to detail and effective time management skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Capability to lift and transport heavy items such as linen and cleaning supplies.
Familiarity with infection control protocols and safety procedures.
