Civil Engineering Intern -Summer 2026

• Collaborate with a diverse group of industry professionals, from EITs to Senior PEs and PMs.
• Coordinate across internal disciplines like survey, structural, geotechnical, etc. and external sub consultants if necessary.
• Assist with design for a variety of projects including site plans, land development, and municipal infrastructure.
• Visit project sites to assist with data collection and construction observation duties.
• Manage time and workload effectively, including planning, organizing and prioritizing with attention to detail.
• Work under the supervision and mentoring of civil engineers and designers. Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Education
  • Required - Must be actively enrolled as a junior, senior or graduate student working towards a Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
  • Preferred- 3.5 GPA or above
• Experience/Skills
  • Preferred - Experience with Microsoft Office, Civil 3D
  • Required - Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals and groups
  • Be solutions minded. Always find a way to be part of the solution.
  • Be collaborative. Must have a positive attitude, work well with co-workers and clients.
  • Take initiative. Seek out every opportunity to do and to learn.
• Availability
  • Summer Interns are required to maintain consistent ability to work 35+ hours per week.
