American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with circulate and scrub experience, an OH or compact license, and EPIC proficiency for a day / evening rotating assignment.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in the Operating Room of a hospital environment specializing in oncology casesDay / evening rotating shifts with a combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shiftsRequired to work various shift patterns including 4x10s, 5x8s, or 2x8s + 2x12s based on unit needCall required, typically 2-3 per 4-week schedule period, with evening, night, and weekend coverageFloat as needed within the unitPatient population includes neuro, thoracic, ENT, ortho, general, plastics, urology, GU / GYN, free flaps, robotics, and oncology casesEPIC EMR is used and prior experience is requiredProvide high-quality nursing care to surgical and oncology patients in the operating roomCollaborate closely with the surgical and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomesCall includes evening, night, and weekend responsibilities as scheduledApplicants must promptly complete Ohio fingerprinting requirements after contract signingLocals are accepted at the same rate as travelersAll requested time off must be declared at the time of contract and built into the agreementNo coworker references accepted; leadership references requiredCandidates outside Ohio may receive a fingerprint packet by mail with urgent completion required\n \n Requirements\n
Active OH or compact RN license required at time of considerationMinimum of 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience requiredCurrent BCLS certification requiredAble to both circulate and scrubEPIC documentation experience requiredEducation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program requiredAt least 2 professional references required, with one from a manager, director, or charge RNMust not be a current employee at any Ohio State University hospital locationFormer employees must have at least a 6-month gap from prior facility employment\n Benefits\n
