A company is looking for an Underwriter to join their team and focus on property underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite commercial property risks under the guidance of senior underwriters

Maintain a profitable book of E&S property business

Develop and maintain relationships with wholesale brokers

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required

2-4 years of experience in E&S property underwriting, including wildfire exposures

Licensed in surplus lines in the Western US required; all 50 states preferred

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment
