POSITION OVERVIEW :

This position will receive all office, gaming equipment, and supplies. Will maintain equipment and supplies, in accordance with Casino accounting procedures and Tribal policies and procedures. Will work with vendors / suppliers, and provide advice regarding furniture, equipment, inventory levels, and needs for all departments.

This position ensures the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of guest’s records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY :

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

The essential functions of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk include but not limited to :

• Maintains purchasing files in a neat, orderly, and accurate manner.
• Maintains inventory levels and stock as requested for Casino departments. Counts and logs all goods signed, maintains receipt / packing slips.
• Prepare and log all outgoing items as necessary, including computer programs with appropriate shipping agencies.
• Receives orders and maintains records or receipt. Receives goods from all couriers and parcel deliveries including food inventory.
• Makes deliveries to Casino Departments. Makes deliveries and runs errands to return equipment, programs etc. Assists with assembly of office equipment and related office assistance. Assists with preparation and loading up supplies for trade shows.
• Deliver and retrieve items from Casino storage units, including accounting records in accordance with established procedures.
• Assists Marketing Department with transport, special events, and other requests.
• Cleans and fuels Casino vehicles.
• Works safely and efficiently, utilizing safe equipment, techniques, and products.
• Is helpful and friendly with other maintenance associates and customers.
• Is current on facility disaster plan and acts accordingly.
• Maintains high and acceptable quality control standards for position responsibilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position.

SKILL, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

Excellent communication and guest relation skills are essential. Able to learn and follow detailed policies and procedures.

Must be a minimum of 21 years old and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class III Gaming License; successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen; and have and maintain a driving record that at least meets the minimum requirements established by Lucky Eagle Casino & Hotel vehicle insurance provider.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger; handle; feel; or grip objects, stretch and / or reach with hands and arms; stoop; crouch or work in cramped or awkward positions; repetitive motions. This person may regularly lift and / or move up to 100+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust to focus.

ENVIRONMENT :

The environment characteristics describe here are representative of those a team member may encounter while performing the essential functions of the position.

Primarily indoors and may be exposed to heavy smoke and fluctuations in temperature while in and around the Casino and / or Hotel. May also, from time-to-time be exposed to noise from slot machines, customers, music and public announcement system, as is common in a Casino and / or Hotel environment.
