Job Summary :

The Equipment Technician at our solar panel manufacturing plant in White, GA, is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment used in solar panel production. This role ensures machinery and equipment function optimally, supporting efficient production and minimizing downtime. The Equipment Technician will work closely with production teams to perform preventative maintenance, address technical issues, and uphold safety standards across the facility.

Key Responsibilities :

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

Perform routine maintenance on production equipment, including calibration, cleaning, and replacement of parts.

• Diagnose equipment malfunctions, troubleshoot technical issues, and execute repairs to minimize downtime.
• Use electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic tools to analyze equipment performance and implement effective repairs.

Preventative Maintenance

Develop and follow preventative maintenance schedules to enhance the lifespan and reliability of equipment.

Safety & Compliance

Adhere to workplace safety standards, including lock-out / tag-out procedures, electrical safety, and machine guarding.

Continuous Improvement & Documentation

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement improvements in equipment performance.

Qualifications :

Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
