What this job involves:

As a Healthcare MEP Senior Project Manager at JLL, you will serve as the owner's representative on project teams, overseeing the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout healthcare facilities. This critical role ensures that complex MEP systems meet all technical requirements, regulatory standards, and client expectations. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while providing expert guidance on healthcare-specific MEP systems from design review through commissioning, delivering exceptional value to our healthcare clients.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Oversee MEP systems installation including planning, budgeting, scheduling and execution throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clients, architects, and design engineers
• Conduct comprehensive field inspections to ensure quality control and compliance
• Lead problem-solving efforts to resolve MEP challenges that arise during construction
• Review Virtual Design Coordination (VDC) models across all MEP disciplines to ensure access and maintainability
• Oversee and coordinate commissioning, Test/Adjust/Balance (TAB), and regulatory compliance
• Engage with public utilities and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless integration

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of MEP hospital construction experience, plant operations, maintenance, or engineering
• Knowledge of healthcare MEP systems (HVAC, mechanical, BAS, medical gas systems, life safety systems)
• Knowledge of construction processes and building codes relevant to healthcare facilities
• Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or similar field
• Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) certification
• Knowledge of hospital accreditation requirements
• Experience with emergency/stand-by generators, automatic transfer switches, and UPS systems
• Experience mentoring junior staff and team development
• Experience participating in business development initiatives
