Must-Have :
Previous experience in radiation therapy.
Ability to work with various patient demographics including adults and geriatrics.
Description :
The Clienttion Therapist will provide quality patient care in a radiation therapy setting.
This position will not involve floating between units.
Weekends are not required.
There is no block scheduling associated with this role.
The expected therapist to patient ratio is 2 therapists per linear accelerator.
Experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and Exac Trac is preferred but not required.
The facility includes two linear accelerators with a daily census of approximately 50 scheduled patients.
Staffing support is available from interdisciplinary teams, including IV, Respiratory, and Social Services.
The unit handles all cancer diagnoses and employs advanced techniques such as SBRT.
Travelers must have a vehicle for this assignment.
They will be expected to work 3 of the 5 major holidays during the contracted time.
All time off requests must be made upfront during the application process.
Flexibility with the schedule is expected to meet operational needs.
