Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity focuses on providing virtual speech-language pathology services to K-12 students within a California school district setting. The role supports preschool and early elementary caseloads through teletherapy, emphasizing assessment, intervention, and compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs).
Key responsibilities :
- Deliver direct speech-language pathology services via teletherapy to students in preschool through second grade
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP meetings
- Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to ensure effective service delivery
- Manage caseloads of approximately 25 students, focusing on communication and speech goals
- Provide timely documentation and maintain communication with educational teams
Desired experience and qualifications :
Valid Speech-Language Pathology credentials for California practiceDemonstrated ability to supervise an SLPA in an educational settingExperience conducting high-priority assessments and efficiently managing IEP processesRecent work history (within 1-2 years) in a California school district utilizing SEIS (Special Education Information System), with a verifiable referenceSkilled in telespeech or teletherapy techniquesAdditional details :
