Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilledUnified Communications (UC) Engineerto design, implement, secure, and support enterprise-grade voice and collaboration systems across geographically dispersed environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing large-scale Cisco Unified Communications infrastructures, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performing voice and video services in support of mission-critical operations for federal and defense customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and administrative support for Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection, Expressways, Jabber, and related platforms across NIPR / SIPR and VoSIP networks.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize UC systems for availability, performance, and reliability using tools such asRTMTandSolarWinds.
• Perform upgrades, migrations, and patching of UC infrastructure, including Cisco UCS servers, VG450 gateways, and VMware virtualized environments.
• Apply DISASTIGs, remediate ACAS scan findings, and maintain compliance withDoD cybersecuritystandards.
• Support provisioning, deployment, and configuration of telephony devices, including developingBAT files, custom templates, and automated workflows.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including system design guides, installation manuals, service policies, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with network, cybersecurity, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex UC issues and escalate support needs as appropriate.
• Conduct site surveys, develop as-built documentation, and recommend design changes to improve performance, scalability, and security.
• Support users and stakeholders through Tier II / III troubleshooting, training, and end-user documentation.
• Participate in planning and deployment of new UC services and technologies and contribute to strategic roadmap development.
