Financial Management Analyst

This position is part of the Office of Environmental Management - Headquarters, Department of Energy. As a Financial Management Analyst, you will be identifying and resolving complex accounting, budgetary, and audit support challenges.

Responsibilities As a Financial Management Analyst, you will :

• Serve as a financial advisor to management.
• Analyze funding methods, resolving financial issues, and providing budget support.
• Create financial statistical information such as funding profiles, charts, graphs, and tables.
• Review invoices to analyze contractors' expenditures, obligations, and projections.
• Provide and coordinate audit support activities including explaining federal audit principles.
• Serve as the key contact for all auditor communications.

Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS : A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 2 of the TOTAL of 3 of the following :
