Job description

SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC is seeking a CADD Technical Support Lead to support our ongoing mission at Ft. Cavazos, TX.

  • Contractor shall perform tasks described below which are non-severable, and shall result in the development of a comprehensive Phase II Summary Report for the Fort Hood CADD Technical Support
  • The technical lead shall include the following : workload management and the management of personnel; lead the preparation of the CADD platform customization and enhancements to include future initiative, including database

integration; coordinate with individual department heads at Fort Hood and CADD end-users; and ensure that all work is high quality and the appropriate QA / QC procedures are followed.

  • Additionally the Contractor shall provide technical services to implement the overall departmental needs assessment, but also will work on specific prioritized end-user requests.
  • The Contractor shall create and prepare maps, drawings, tables, and graphics for reports and other data products; collect and process data for Fort Hood; and maintain and update Fort Hood's CADD related databases using CADD software compatible to Bentley's Suite of products and other associated software. Support lead shall have five (5) years of CADD software comparable to Bentley's Suite experience.
  • The contractor shall perform all updates and entry's in GFEBS for DMO's issued for work requirements
  • The Contractor shall plan and coordinate the continued implementation of a CADD architecture that is database enabled, manage the day-to-day functions to ensure the products produced meet stated requirement of the
  • DPW, are technically correct, and are delivered in the time requested. The Contractor shall coordinate with the DPW, Fort Hood Business Office, independent department heads, and end-users throughout the installation in

    executing work-flow and prioritizing tasks. The Contractor shall also be responsible for developing and implementing quality control policies and procedures.

  • Update Short and Long Range Plan for the Implementation of a Database Enabled CADD System within Fort Hood.
  • The Contractor shall update the plan for planning, design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of a database enabled system. The plan shall identify specific tasks required to achieve goals and objectives, as well as identify

    specific constraints and / or barriers to achieving stated goals and objectives, and identify specific measures to overcome constraints and / or barriers. Finally, the plan shall provide a detailed timeline, projected milestones and

    objectives, order of magnitude cost for each distinct and identifiable project objective and milestone, associated with the identified tasks necessary to achieve goals, and objectives.

  • The Contractor shall perform detailed engineering surveys of facilities and civil works projects by collecting and processing data for inclusion in Fort Hood's CADD and other related databases. Data shall be collected by means of
  • GPS survey-grade equipment such as Trimble's R10 GPS receiver. Survey equipment and incidental components shall be considered "common tools of trade" and will not be furnished by the government. Data shall be collected

    and delivered to the Fort Hood DPW Engineering Division in a format compatible with modern drafting software and project needs. The contractor will be responsible for collecting survey data for up to hundred (100) exterior and

    interior engineering projects totaling in approximately 5,200 Acres. Types of surveys will include Topographic Surveys, Hydrographic Surveys, Static GPS Control Surveys and Building Interior Surveys. Completed surveys

    W9115120C0009 shall be delivered to the engineering division in accordance with Fort Hood Surveying requirements and received within 14 calendar days of request

  • The Contractor shall operate, update, revise, and maintain Fort Hood's CADD related databases using Bentley suite of products and other associated software that is compatible. If CADD software updated contractor is required to be
  • trained to operate.

  • The Contractor shall perform routine mapping, including the creation and preparation of drawings, tables, graphics, for reports and other data products. This task includes developing standard processes and procedures for establishing
  • consistent drawing packages, providing customers with drawings and floor plans, and maintaining an inventory of all flat maps insuring as-built drawings not provided in electronic format are scanned and included in the scans

    directory.

  • The Contractor shall develop Database applications within the Bentley Suite desktop environment to include compatibility of other DPW software and extensions. Contractor shall also develop custom web-based products.
  • The Contractor shall provide monthly status reports documenting actions completed, actions ongoing, pulled from GFEBS entry and send to KO.
