Compensation Rate : Pays up to $45 per hour

Job Type : Full-time

Focused Staffing Group is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team. The School Social Worker will provide essential social, emotional, and behavioral support to students, families, and the school community. This role will focus on removing barriers to learning and promoting student well-being.

Job Summary :

The School Social Worker will serve as a liaison between the school, home, and community, providing direct and indirect services to students and families. They will address issues such as attendance, behavior, mental health, and family challenges, advocating for students' needs and connecting them with necessary resources.

• Participate in Special Education, Mental Health, and Student Support Teams, contributing expertise and support.
• Provide consultation and intervention strategies to general education staff, assisting with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and pre-referral processes.
• Conduct student assessments and interviews to identify needs and develop appropriate support plans.
• Develop and maintain case records, IEPs, FBAs, and BIPs, ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.
• Provide individual and group counseling to students and parents on social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Develop, implement, and review student service plans, monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as needed
