Eddie Marine, Inc. has been proudly manufacturing quality billet aluminum aftermarket hardware and accessories for boats in Southern California since 1993.

Role Description

This is an on-site position for phone and in-person sales Monday through Friday with periodic special event hours. Strong candidates will have knowledge of automotive and marine hardware and accessories. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with boat and car restoration giving them an edge on technical aspects of product application for technical support questions. Our sales positions are involved with retail and wholesale customers and accurate data entry will be required to ensure customer orders are processed correctly. Daily tasks of responding to customer requests in person, on the phone and via email require staff who can keep to company policy, communicate well with co-workers and customers while ensuring they move through responsibilities in a timely manner. This position will be best suited to individuals who have a mechanical aptitude that can be conveyed to customers, ensuring they are sold the correct product for their vehicle and / or boat.

Qualifications

• Recommended 1+ years of experience in sales
• Strong professional email, phone and in person communication skills
• Excellent data entry skills
• Recommended 3+ years of experience in customer service
• Requires knowledge of automotive and marine hardware and accessories
• Attention to detail and sound organization
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills for self sufficiency when working independently
• Previous experience in the marine and / or automotive industry preferred
• Familiarity with car and / or boat restoration preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
