Currently, DPRA is searching for an Intermediate Consulting Engineer in r4’s FISTA AI Center of Excellence (FACE) at FISTA Park in Lawton, Oklahoma.  This full-time position will provide subject matter consulting, analysis and support of data operations and business practice issues related to the effective use of data implementation within Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI / ML) information systems.

Essential Job Duties and Functions :

• Identifies and documents problems traced to data, configuration and system output issues and recommends solutions.
• Utilizes industry best practices to analyze data sets to glean knowledge and insights to configure AI / ML models / solutions that match customers’ requirements.
• Creates SQL and Python scripts to retrieve and analyze data from data sources.
• Conducts necessary transformations so that data is structured ready for data analysts and data scientists.
• Reviews work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and customer standards.
• Identify and documents problems traced to both original data pipeline issues, data staging environments, system outputs, and recommends solutions.
• Identify and triage deviations from specification and works with customer and engineering staff to resolution of the identified problem.
• Assists with configuration of AI / ML platform to support customer specifications.
• Works with development, subject matter experts and data scientist teams to ensure projects meet all requirements and schedules.
• Conducts user research to identify data and processing pain points and opportunities for improvement.
