Job Summary

Performs or guides & ensures the accomplishment of the following functions : planning, organizing, leading, coordinating, reporting & budgeting. May lead continuous improvement (CI) commitment and systematic CI efforts. Provides support to senior management in the formulation and implementation of long-term business strategy. May represent senior management at corporate and business unit meetings / committees for strategic, financial, legislative, or regulatory issues. Develops and participates in presentations for senior management and other communications as directed by senior corporate management. Facilitates the integration and reporting of key organization performance measures for senior management of the organization and other senior corporate leaders. Seeks data and input from throughout the organization on issues deemed critical by senior management; conducts associated analyses and develops consolidated status reports. Recommends next steps and ensures their implementation. Keeps abreast of industry developments and competitor strategies that may impact the organization.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics engineering or related degree and the knowledge / capabilities typically acquired through 5+ years of job-relevant experience.

Other Qualifications

Preferred : Regulatory and rate case experience : Demonstrated experience navigating complex regulatory environments, including active participation in rate case proceedings and regulatory filings. Proven ability to interpret and apply regulatory frameworks to support business objectives. Advanced Data Modeling & Interpretation : Skilled in developing and analyzing sophisticated models to interpret multifaceted datasets. Capable of transforming raw data into actionable insights that inform regulatory approaches and arguments. Strategic Analytical Thinking : Analytical skills and ability to distill large volumes of information to support high-impact strategic plan development and executive decision making. Evidence-Based Communication : Adept at constructing clear, rational arguments supported by data and research. Able to influence stakeholders through compelling, evidence-driven narratives. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication : Strong ability to translate technical findings into accessible insights for non-technical audiences. Comfortable presenting to senior leadership, external regulators, and cross-functional teams. Leadership & Project Management : Proven experience in senior, lead, or supervisory roles, including oversight of cross-functional teams and management of complex projects or processes from inception to completion. Educational Background : Holds a relevant graduate-level degree such as an MBA, with coursework or specialization in strategy, finance, economics, or public policy.

Other Requirements : Ability to build productive relationships and obtain results through the efforts of other individuals and teams. Analytical and problem solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions for various situations. Ability to build and analyze complex financial modeling data and develop optimal recommendations and solutions. Written and verbal communication and advocacy skills consistent with the ability to present results of projects and research to senior-level corporate management, non-technical stakeholders or regulators. Well-developed organization and planning skills (typically acquired through at least 5 years of experience). Ability to apply project planning and implementation and / or continuous improvement principles (typically acquired through several years of experience in these areas) to affect tangible, outcomes.
