A’BriTin, the Twin Cities' premier catering and event planning company, is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Wedding and Event Catering Sales Coordinator. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to dive into the food and beverage side of wedding planning.

At A’BriTin, we're hiring for attitude and ambition . The ideal candidate is someone who’s highly motivated, a clear communicator, and eager to learn in a fast-paced sales environment. You'll work directly with couples to guide them through selecting the perfect menu and beverage offerings for their special day. While this role does not always require on-site event coordination, it’s perfect for someone who wants to focus on sales and client relationships with a primary focus on catering.

What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Guide couples through catering and beverage selections, offering tailored menu and drink package recommendations based on their preferences, style, and budget.
  • Assist with sales outreach and follow-ups to prospective clients, helping to grow our catering business.
  • Manage client contracts, timelines, and budgets related to food and beverage services.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring clients are thrilled with their food and beverage choices from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with our kitchen and service teams to ensure clients' needs are clearly communicated and met.
  • Represent A’BriTin professionally, maintaining a positive attitude and high energy.

What We’re Looking For :

We’re excited to train the right candidate, but you should bring :

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Strong communication skills—clear, confident, and effective in both written and verbal forms.
  • Goal-driven and competitive attitude with a focus on sales success.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, especially when it comes to tracking contracts and budgets.
  • Comfortable recommending and selling food and beverage packages to clients.
  • Enthusiastic and positive with a passion for helping clients create memorable events.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours during peak season.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items during event setup (occasionally up to 50 lbs).
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in sales, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with event planning software or CRM tools.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage sales or catering is a plus.
  • Important Details :

  • This is a F ull-Time / Salary - Exempt position with commission and bonus opportunities.
  • Starting salary is $40,000-$50,000 annually, commission / bonus eligible.
  • Evening and weekend availability required , particularly during peak season. (open houses, networking events, client events)
  • Physical demands : Ability to stand, walk, and lift items during event setup and breakdown (up to 50 lbs).
